Can you update WordPress to version 6?

Yes, this is the latest version of WordPress that is currently available. If you don’t have a staging/testing server for us to perform the update on first, we suggest making a backup of your website before performing the update as a safety precaution.

Can you migrate my WordPress site to another host?

Yes. It will depend on what access we can get to your current WordPress website and where you’d like it to move, but there are a number of options available to you.

Can you change my WordPress theme?

Yes. If you have already selected one, we’ll be able to install that for you. If you’d like us to find one for your specific requirements or create a custom theme, we can do that too.

Can you update the style of my WordPress website?

Yes, we can change almost anything you like, colours, fonts, sizing and positioning just to name a few, just let us know your requirements and we will advise you on your options.

How do I install a WordPress plugin? Or can you install a new plugin for me?

To install a plugin, you can navigate to the ‘Plugins’ section of your WordPress dashboard. If you already have the plugin files downloaded, you can upload them by selecting ‘Upload plugin’ from the ‘Add’ section. If you need to find a plugin on the WordPress plugin hub, you can use the search function. If you don’t have the time, or would feel more confident having us do that, send over the files or let us know what you need and we can install it for you.

How do I upload a new logo to my WordPress website? Can you upload a new logo to my WordPress website?

It depends on how your logo has been added to the website. The most common functionality is the ‘Site Identity’ section, which is found under ‘Appearance > Customise’. If you don’t see the option, then it has been disabled or incorrectly set up. We would need to look at how your website has been created in order to change it for you.

Can you help me improve my SEO?

Yes, we have experts in different search marketing. We can look at the technical side of SEO and make sure your website is performing fully with no errors. We can look at your keywords, and also write new optimised content and build optimised landing pages too.

How can I speed up my WordPress website?

There are many ways this can be done. This can include minifying, combining and compressing files. Resizing and compressing images and adding lazy loading functionality. Caching and a CDN can also be set up to name a few.

How can I make my WordPress website more secure?

There are several ways to improve WordPress website security. These include changing the default login page so people can’t access /wp-login.php. Keep your login details secure and change your password regularly. Keep WordPress up to date as they are constantly improving the core system. Make sure your hosting is using the latest version of PHP. Install a security plugin like Securi or All In One WP Security, which offers various brute force protection and firewalls. I just see a blank white page; can you fix it?

Yes. This can be due to several factors, but mainly an error in your theme or a plugin. With the right access, we’ll be able to pinpoint the error, fix it and get your website back up and running in no time.

What are your support hours?

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm. Out of office hours can be arranged if required.

Can I cancel my contract?

You can cancel a monthly contract at any point, we do require 30 days notice. A yearly plan can be cancelled at any point and will not be renewed at the end of the year.

How can I pay?

We accept PayPal and bank transfer.

Can I ask for a custom task?

Sure, tell us what it is and we will see if we can do it.

I have multiple WordPress sites, can you do me a deal?

Sure, tell us about your sites and we can work something out for you.

Do I need to give access to my Admin or server?

Yes. Sooner or later we’ll need access to update content or make any fixes. We will sign an NDA and let you know what we’ll do before doing it.

How do you record and report time used?

We have built our own time tracking software called Kairos which keeps track of time spent on jobs. This will be updated and reported to you with each piece of work completed.

If I haven’t use all my time can I carry it over?

We’ll keep a track of what you have used and let you know how much time is left to enable you to use it up within the month, it can’t be carried over.

What happens if I run out of time each month?

We will let you know when you get close to using all your time. You can always upgrade or purchase more support time if you need to.
